 Pennsylvania Cycling Association 2010\nMembership Drive                   
                                      \n\n \n\nThe\nPennsylvania Cycling 
 Association (PCA) mission statement is “The\nPennsylvania Cycling 
 Association is dedicated to the betterment of competitive\ncycling 
 throughout the state of PA.” The PCA through\nits volunteer executive 
 board and committees supports all aspects of bicycle\nracing in the 
 keystone state by offering a variety of services and support and\nserves 
 as USA Cycling’s local association for Pennsylvania.\n\n \n\nThe\nPCA 
 was founded primarily to promote the BAR (Best All-Around Rider) 
 however\nthe PCA is much more than the PA Road and Track BAR series.  
 In\nconjunction with the organizations role as the USAC Local Association 
 (LA) for\nPennsylvania the PCA provides services to all riders in 
 Pennsylvania including:\n\n\n USA Cycling Road/Track/Cross\n     License 
 Upgrades\n Issuing USA Cycling Road/Track/Cross\n     Race Permits\n 
 Scheduling of Race Officials\n Road Race Calendar (www.pacycling.org)\n 
 State Road\, Criterium\, Time\n     Trial\, and Cyclocross 
 Championships\n Monetary Grants via USAC License\n     and 
 www.BikeReg.com\n     Reimbursement Programs\n\n\n \n\nThe\ngoal of the 
 2010 membership drive is to bring every USAC PA registered club and\nall 
 non PA clubs\, whose member’s race in Pennsylvania\, into the 
 PCA\nfamily.  PA licensed riders who’s team/club is a PCA member 
 can\ncompete for PA BAR points (individual and team) while non PA 
 licensed riders\ncan earn team points. However a PCA membership is much 
 more than the chance to\nearn PA BAR points. The PCA is your resource for 
 everything bicycle racing\nrelated from weekly informative emails to 
 assistance finding a team to\ninformation on training rides to providing 
 all riders with goods and services\nto help them reach their cycling 
 goals. Whether you’re a big club\, a\nsmall team\, a promoter\, a 
 collegiate squad\, PA based\, or live in the\nmid-atlantic area\, join 
 one of the fastest growing bicycle racing associations\nin the country.

 supports all riders whether you’re a roadie\, TT specialist\,

 take place in Downingtown on\nSaturday January 16th from 12 to 4 PM at

 meeting is the venue for representatives from member clubs to\ngather and 
 discuss the BAR competition\, state events\, racing calendar\, and 
 to\nsubmit and vote on proposals to create or change the PCA by laws 
 and\nregulations. Individuals who belong to member clubs (in good 
 standing) can\nsubmit proposals on line to modify the PCA by laws. \n\n 
 \n\nIt\nis important that all clubs/teams/organizations renew their 2010 
 PCA dues on or\nbefore 12/31/2009 to be in good standing for 2010 and 
 eligible to vote on\nproposals at the governance meeting. If you want to
